SharpLMS 25 % complete

The initial structure and schema work is done for our Learning Management System offering, SharpLMS. The focus of SharpLMS will be on corporate learning and assessment. The goal of this offering is to replace isolated and fragmented learning programs with a unified, web-based system that will raise competency and performance across all levels of an organization. SharpLMS will not offer content creation in it's inital rollout, but we have partnered with Kazooboo Interactive to provide content creation for clients who may need this. Demo rollout is slated for late May, 2007.

SharpLMS will offer the following features:
  • Autoenrollment based on job title and department
  • Manager/trainer enrollment
  • Integration with Hirechain employee records and performance evaluations
  • Reporting tools to help identify skill gaps
  • Career path courses to help employees take an active role in their promotability
  • Learner grouping based on geography and job group
  • Complete online testing and assesment tools
  • SCORM compliance
  • Course calendaring at the learner, trainer and manager levels

Assessment Testing with Dr. Wendell Williams

This is pretty exciting stuff. We have partnered up with Dr. Wendell Williams of ScientificSelection.com, Inc to provide assessment testing for the Hirechain project. Dr. Williams is one of the foremost industrial psychologists in the world and has more degrees than a Canadian thermometer. Using his highly classified, top secret testing model, we have developed and are in testing on an assessment test for AIMCO that will help them score candidates against multiple jobs using the same score results. No braincells were killed while working through the math in the testing algorithms, but there was some bruising.

What is Hirechain?

Hirechain started life as a simple web-based survey tool used to pre-interview candidates. This functionality was expanded to manage career fairs and hire-ups. After a few months, it was realized that a full blown solution was needed to integrate current employee data, company-wide job postings, outside recruiting companies, multiple job boards and applicant tracking. Working with Greg Spangle of AIMCO, a supply chain model was adopted and development began in Q3, 2006.

Hirechain provides end-to-end applicant tracking and CRM from the point of delivery to onboarding. It also manages job postings with Monster, CareerBuilder, Hot Jobs and Google Base. Print ad management and a full reporting suite are also part of the Hirechain system. Hirechain receives current employee and company data from data feeds from Lawson, Peoplesoft and Plateau. Hirechain is HR-XML compliant.

Hirechain is expected to be 100% live in Q2, 2007.
